Point of No Return
The eagerly anticipated second CD from Singer/Trombonist Dan Barnett is now available in stores. Overflowing with great tracks the "POINT OF NO RETURN" features superb singing and playing by Dan and his most swinging Big Band. Beautifully recorded this CD features 24 bit mastering with the state of the art UV22 process.
From the hard grooving title track "Point of No Return" to the supercool caress of the classic "Angel Eyes" and the blistering tempo of "Lover Come Back to Me" Dan and his all-star line up take you on a trip reminiscent of the classic Big Band era yet with a glowing freshness of 2003.
The CD features original Australian arrangements of jazz standards, and great soloists. "Cheek to Cheek" brings together home grown jazz diva, Emma Pask and Dan in a cameo duet.
